my first day as ambulance crew was rather interesting
went for total of 5 calls, out of many
well, its cos i had to go for physiotherapy
meaning, i wasnt at station for abt 2 hrs+
plus, at first there were 3 medics under one of the paramedics, so we had to rotate to attend calls.
lucky for me, the first 5 calls of my life wasnt as scary.
i havent face 'the real thing' yet.
plus, im still a 'trainee'.
so all i did was just to observe and do simple jobs like to carry stuffs and reporting.
kinda fun, i shld say.
but now im confused.
did i make the right choice by requesting to change to medical centre?
yes, i want weekends off. BADLY!
but i somehow like station life at the same time
not saying im already loving it, but i dont feel the stress at station as what i imagined it to be.
maybe not yet. or maybe not at my station.
for now, med ctr to station is like 57:43.
well, gonna meet the doctor at the med ctr tmr.
he's like having doubt on accepting me to the med ctr.
cos the reason my paramedic(pm) gave in the email was that i also have an injury.
so he thought it may be a permanent one or that i'll downgrade pes status.
but hell yea, i still wanna have a week or two at station, UNDER MY SENIOR MEDIC. and not alone. lol.
and i like my rota pm
he's very calm and willing to teach a dumbo like me.
not like what the instructors say, which is that the seniors and pm will tekan us newbies.
or maybe im just lucky. dont wished to be tekan-ed also
i wont learn much that way.
oh yea, heard that there's a quite pretty pm working today.
lucky koh tongyi. he's working today.
dont really know bout tonight.
im eager to wear my smart 3 (or is it smart 2?)
friday night faster come!
and, please, not medical centre, YET!
