6 weeks of medical orderly course is now over.
i feel that it all went too fast.
how i wish im a trainee for the whole of my ns life.
the final week of course was really the best, esp the last 2 days.
the day of our final ex and our 'POP'
had 2 exercises at the MTV. rescuers in the day, casualty at night.
it was really an experience, esp being casualty at night
to hide in the rundown building that has no lights
lucky for me, we were paired up.
'POP' wasnt grand but meaningful, to me at least.
i will miss my coursemates and instructors.
MOC life is certainly a better time than recruit life for me.
i did have the time of my life.
however, posting was kinda screwed.
firstly, i didnt get my 1st choice. which is cda medical centre.
meaning, no weekends off for me. damnit!
2ndly, i didnt get my 2nd choice either, which is BB firestation(fs).
meaning, no shorter travel time for me.
but on the plus point, i wont get to see what happened around my neighbourhood and have the images stuck in my mind.
3rdly, ppl who didnt pick my choices got into them.
e.g. i know of two guys who didnt want cda medical centre and got into it.
one guy lives in AMK(or somewhere up north) and got BB fs. how screwed.
but i pity this guy the most. a malay guy who got into hq, in an environment that demands for chinese only. he even cried bout it. furthermore, the job scope, if im not wrong, is more like a clerk. very fucked up posting.
got into ALEXANDRA fs instead.
which is likely my 5th/6th choice probably if im given that much choices.
heard that its quite a busy and reputable station.
am i up to it? we'll see.
travelling gonna take much longer than to cda. fuck!
have to take both train n bus. fuck! expensive concession for my quite pathetic pay.
im partly excited, yet dreads going to station at the same time.
from monday onwards, the real thing starts.
no more doing silly stuffs and laugh at it after that.
serious serious serious.
weekdays and weekends will no longer be different.
mistakes are no longer apologise-able. perfection will be appreciated.
ok. enough bout ns life.
went back to pj to see the band for the last 15-20 mins of their prac.
i didnt know the prac started and ends early.
but at least i got to know the new jc1s.
after hearing how stressed aloy n mira are, i think i will fail too if i were to be the SL.
i hope i get a day off this wed to see them for sectionals, hoping to rescue the situation.
but after meeting them for a day, though short, i can somehow tell who gives the most prob.
however, it was quite fun at first making them believe that i was a clarinetist and also some other stuffs. got the idea from introduction section during medic course. haha.
fyi, i initially believed that one of the instructors was a father of two. he looked damn serious when he told us. but was spoiled by his colleague.
as for today, slacking the whole day at home.
really needed it.
hopefully get to meet up the S25 again tmr, esp the going-to-enlist guys.
till the next time i update.
