Christmas Eve and Christmas Day was fun.
was invited out last min on Xmas eve, with cindy driving.
out all the way from 9pm to 7am the next day.
we just got nothing to do, so we kinda roamed around singapore aimlessly.
oh btw, we werent celebrating xmas.
went to dempsey at first with the intention of having dinner. but ended up eating ice cream and brownie at Ben & Jerry.
sent sihui home (j. east), fetched zhiqi (yew tee)
orchard after that just to have a feel of xmas as the time was almost midnight.
traffic wasnt as bad as i expected, jam only outside far east. but smooth along orchard road.
we wind down our windows and screamed out 'merry christmas' to anyone we felt like.
but singaporeans are boring. they dont reply back.
only a handful did. so few that i can actually remember them.
the couple on harley, the family in some small car, and the girl outside rendezvous hotel.
carls jr @ ECP after that, with an interesting bitching session.
bitched about anyone and everyone. even shruthi made it on our list.
to those who knew her, YES! we talked about her.
hakim was the most enthu whenever she became the topic of our conversation.
and he would share whatever he knows bout her. right kim?
we were actually bo liao enough to go MOUNT FABER after that.
and we spent barely 10 mins there as we couldnt really find a place to sit and talk.
oh! i met shen hongyu there! like, what a place to bump into each other la!
it was after 3am btw.
so, we decided to go to changi instead. to see leftovers and to go to the beach.
more like just making use of cindy to drive us all over SG.
played with the swing and see-saw at the playground, making a lot of noise and laughters. i think we woke up alot of people at the beach.
it seemed like we we deprived of such stuffs, every little thing excite us or humourous to us.
we went downtown east after that, just for toilet and a bottle of green tea!
by that time, its almost 6. so we settled for jalan kayu for breakfast since it was somewhere near where jongling lives. PUNGGOL!
zhiqi saw the first bus, yet she thought its not yet the last bus! how bimbotic.
that trip actually showed how boring singapore is. we just couldnt settle at one place. had to go all over singapore.
or maybe, we're just making use of the fact that we can go anywhere without the trouble of taking public transport (have a driver).
i had barely four hours of sleep after that.
went picnic with maternal side on xmas afternoon.
had a lil exchange of presents too. mostly the adults.
and its kinda funny to see them getting all excited bout the presents.
well, im sure it did let some stress out of them. and thats a good thing!
