life this week was quite interesting and enjoyable, though having to travel to and fro camp and home every weekday.
mornings are dreadful.
instead of looking forward to the day, i think of sleep and bed on my way to camp
but fortunately, MOC was enjoyable this week.
watched gross videos like operation on one of the pneumothorax (dont quite rmb which specific one) and also on labour. educational videos.
everyone was like ''owwwwww!!'' when the doc cut a slit on the patient and when the baby is coming out.
when watching the vid on that pneumothorax, i was thinking of eugene.
imagine the pain he went through last yr.
ok la. got the anesthetic thingy. but still, i felt the pain!
and now, i look at mothers differently.
they're really something, i tell you!
you better be nice to your mother.
and to guys, be grateful you're a guy!
one more week of MOC and i'll know my posting.
kind of still not prepared for station life, to be in an alpha.
can i get posted to medical centre instead?
not that i want the easy way out, but, i really think im not suitable for station.
i cant friggin lift the maincot up a curb when only a 60kg man is on it
i wasted my chance for being an instructor as i didnt own up when they asked.
i want it, but im not fit to be it.
the maincot prob again, plus, i cant even do a successful IV. how to teach?!?!

im prepared for my last week of tiring yet exciting week of MOC
as for my weekends, went to sentosa with my cousins
been quite some time since i last been there
2 yrs+ i think.
so, i was like a tourist.
took all the brouchers of the places we're going.
we bought the choice package.
3 attractions and 1 adventure for only $33.90.
initially, i didnt wanna go. cos im kinda broke and my pay will come in TWO weeks time.
budden, thinking of it, $33.90 is worth is since i've never been to some of the attractions/adventures there.
and its not everytime that i get to go sentosa with cousins (or friends), other than just the beach.
so, what the heck.
first destination:
and they even have parrots there, when parrots are under the BIRDS family.
my sis and some cousins got to 'hold' the parrots while i didnt dare.
their claws looked sharp.
im just afraid they could cut my thin skin and penetrate through my vein.
and yea, they felt the itch on the marks the parrot left on them.
but of course, i missed out on the experience. oh wells~
now, i shall drive you on my ancient lorry to the next destination.

i love to tie her hair. i think she use SUNSILK shampoo.
in the past, it was very dark since there used to be lots of trees.
plus, the lights were also not that bright.
look at how i have to read the map to know my way around.
and the light werent that useful either.
and these are my guardians in the past.

had a game with him when i visited him.
he's damn pro. always lose to him.
and look at that 'makcik' face. cam-shy~

rickshaw driver. (its called rickshaw rite?)
look at how young the couple behind is.
no wonder ppl in the past get married as early as 14 yrs old or even younger. =)
and now, the toilets!
in the past, there isnt any toilets in indiv homes.
there's only like a few toilets that the whole estate have to share.

queing for toilets isnt fun. like, what if its urgent?
hmm...for me, bushes!

till we got tired of standing.
rmb there were 5 ppl Q-ing?
the last girl got tired of waiting. i think she went to the bushes too. hahaha.
ahhh...another satisfied 'customer' of the toilet.

it looks nice as its a complete photo plus everyone is looking at the cam.
unlike other, who took photos with only two ppl in it and a big big background.
it just wasnt as nice as ours.
the skyride isnt as fun as i expected it to be.
maybe it was too short.
go up in less than a minute. turn two rounds. go back down.
but the view up there was awesome!
they shld also let us walk around.
or at least have a space for groups as big as our to take group photos.
next was luge and skyride(or whatever it is called)!
it just wasnt as nice as ours.

as a first-timer, i didnt dare to move much and didnt even let go of the handle.
plus, our 'seats' are heavier on one side since there's only 3 of us.
oh ya! they stopped us while we were at the highest point of the ride.
i think it was because of the wind.
some of the 'seats' were swaying a lil bit.
some of us, who took the luge a lil bit later were caught in the rain.
and imagine, if you were riding the skyride and it rained when u just started taking it.
poor you. they cant stop you while in the middle to take you down.
you have to complete the ride which i think is more than 5 mins.
and and....you were caught on camera in the rain, with that face of 'avoiding the rain'.
we went to the beach a while after that while waiting for the 'Songs of the Sea' show.
the show was full house.
