just a lil update.
finally done with uni application, left with paying the fee.
decided on chem n biomolecular engin(NTU)/ chem engin(NUS) as my 1st choice.
2nd choice: aero engin (NTU)/ mechanical engin(NUS) as 2nd
as for the mech engin in NUS, intending to specialise in aero for the 4th year.
and the rest of the choices are kinda crappy. dont really wish to get into the other courses.
dont know why, but only chem engin n aero engin appeals to me.
maybe cos i know abit about what i can work as with those degrees.
chem is fun. but when u have to mix it with bio, it can be kinda 'urgH!'.
and now that im in medic, i fear the risks of handling chemicals.
aero is fun too. esp if u get the opportunity to work at the changi airport and to work for SIA.
ooohhhh~ imagine the benefits i can get. AwESomE!!
of course there are lots of dangers while working too. like when handling nitrogen gas bla bla.
then again, there are dangers/risks in every kind of job.
oh well, lets just leave it to fate, now that i have applied.
im still in love with NUS.
no matter what, i must make sure i get into NUS and into the course that i want.
heard that NUS is harder to get in
if really cant get after the 3 tries that im entitled to (since im an NSF), then NTU it is.
and thats IF i get the course that i want in NTU lar.
choosing courses also can be quite a trouble.
dont wanna waste time doing something that i dont quite like in future.
now that i've applied, its like a load off my shoulder.
shall keep on praying that i'll get either of my first 2 choices.
to make the entry even longer, shall post on my small outing today.
a few of us from S25 decided to meet up for bowling n dinner.
and these are the people:
back row: ahmad the MAT, zhenwen the civilian, william the combat engineer
mid row: CIKGU(teacher) fadilah, heeyang the air defence bla bla bla, cheewai the military police
lastly, yours truly. THE MEDIC!
bowling was fun.
not really so much of playing the game. but i guess its the company that made it fun.
we were kinda high.
divided ourselves into teams, cos the cikgu wanna 'battle'
supposedly her against the guys but she said not fair
gave her ahmad, she dont want. problem siak she~!
she's pro then still want lots of ppl in her team.
she like everytime play one lar.
i think her blog entry, within the past 1 mth, got like 3-4 bowling entries.
in the end, divided ourselves according to birthdates and coincidentally its the NSFs against civilians.
played 2 games.
it was crazy.
but obviously the one who always played won the individual event.
here's our positions:
i did impressive! but wasnt enough to beat the one that goes bowling often.
hahahah...impressive. rite..
my team's secret weapon!
and as for the team event, the NSFs won!
it was an easy game for us as ahmad was wasting his $3.60 away.
and here's the loser team.
they're supposed to make the L sign to replace their 2-fingers sign.
well, its still 2 fingers rite?
2nd game was a tough fight.
ahmad had finally realised that money doesnt come easy.
and my team, we were tired after near-to-thrashing the others in the prev game.
LOL.
cikgu didnt get first place this round.
cikgu wasnt focused enough
she's stressed over her students. MYE coming~
LOL.
