hello all.
the past one week has been really tiring.
having to report at camp as early as 0730hrs everyday and only to finish classes at 1730 (and sometimes 2300 when there's night classes) can be really dreadful.
its just like school last time where you have to take public transport early in the morning with the morning crowd and the unpredictable morning traffic.
if you're late, you're confined. just like detention after school.
long lessons in air-conditioned room is really comfortable for sleep, esp when you lack of sleep the night before. but you sleep, you're punished of course.
but worst of all, i still have to study. mostly biology stuffs. which i totally know nothing.
now i wonder if medical orderly course is the course for me.
im not looking forward at all to doing IV drips with buddy.
css band (+ alumni) concert was really a great experience, though the music isnt really there.
but it doesnt really matter to the P and the VP, since all they care is how we look
plus most of our audiences dont really know much bout music, since they're forced to attend to make it full house. and they paid through edusave.
wth lar. i could have sold those tix to my classmates. oh well...
still, it was really cool that there's representatives from every batches that mr brando tan took
from 1999 all the way to 2007.
its so saddening that he has to leave commonwealth. career advancement according to him.
but what he said to us is true. especially having to deal with shits from the school if he stays.
all the best to him in his career.
all the best to kenneth(the new cmb conductor) too!
im sure he's capable of bringing cmb to greater heights.
im glad its him that is taking over. at least i wont feel awkward when i visit cmb.
i know him. he knows me. well, thats good enough.
now, just some photos.
im still waiting for the batch + alumni band photos taken with brando.
some of the alumni

its always the sax, cornet and perc ppl together.
and these are the saxy people
with some that are so young that i dont know their name. or seen them for the first time that day.

damn. looking at this photo reminds me of my section when i was the SL.
really miss those times. the 7th night of july batch.
also, not forgeting the fun times of the ivanhoe batch. the times that we had lots of crazy fun.
the saxy alumni plus danny seng the oboeist

attended cmb alumni chalet ytd.
though didnt really mix arn much with the organisers, but we, the nowhere here nowhere there batch still had loads of fun.
esp playing card games in the room.
7th level of pig is stupid yet fun fun fun.
so amusing to see ppl with slow reactions, esp those blur ones or with physical disadvantages.
hah. but it all ended so fast.
oh! i love the thing we gave to brando. how i wish i have a soft copy of it.

oh well, didnt take lots of photos with my cam.
so now the new week starts.
expecting A's result this week.
been waiting so long for it that i dont feel anything anymore.
esp after a number of false alarms.
maybe not until i got to know the exact date.
another 5 long days of lessons.
im having practical test this tues and i know nuts bout dressings.
all due to my absence last tues.
i realised, for this course, you miss a day and you'll miss alot.
and fuck. my buddy missed two days of lessons.
yup, he's not interested in the course.
and now, i cant really depend of him to teach me what i've missed.
all the best to me la, huh.
i wonder if i can request to get posted to medical centre or hospital instead of station.
i just dont have to confidence of being in the ambulance and handling real patients. yet.
as for now, im gonna slack for a lil while more before reading up my thick thick 'textbook'.
adios.
