it's a long entry...
today, as overall, was indeed an enjoyable and memorable day
i had fun! really! even though there were some boring moments in between
first event was arts day cum past vs present day
and i have to reached school as early as 8am
(but i purposely went late..half hr late only!)
my class sold personalised pens
and i think we managed to earn quite alot as there were only 3 pens left out of 2 boxes
and according to shiwei, we won best product!
thanks to shiwei and hazel for coming up with that idea
the capital was high ok~ cos we used uniball signo pens
ok...the award we won was abit shocking
and at that time, most of us had already left (we closed quite early)
anyway, only a pathetic 5 stayed at the booth
some busy with talentime, council, friends, NDP or just didnt attend
talking about talentime, i quite surprised by redzuan' talent and is proud of him
me, being quite close to him in primary school, i didnt even realised that he has talent for singing
i only know he is athletic and loves sports
kudos, my friend!
next was soccer past vs present tournament
played with the commonwealth gang + one pjc pae guy (our pro goalie!)
and surprisingly we got 4th!!
we were the only j1s to make it that far!
and one of the two present pioneers.
4th no medals.....so sad!
but i think it was really a job well done for us!
especially some key players that played almost all games
aniway..i think i only played 3 out of the 6 matches (and not throughout the matches)
i was too hungry to play and have to admit that the others were better players
ok, this was how the tournament goes:
12 teams divided into 2 groups of 6
due to time contraint, each played 3 mathes
the best 4 will move on to the next round (quarter final)
then semi-finals followed by finals and 3rd/4th placing
we were actually 4th during the groups round
so were quite lucky to made it through
won 1 out of 3
with goal difference of -1
quarter final, it was a draw at 10mins
so, penalty
and we got through thanks to our pro goalie!!
semi-finals, drew again!
lost at penalty
3rd placing obviously lost..1-0
we made it quite far actually!
i, or maybe most of us, didnt even expect us to get to the semis
before the tournament began, all the other team were busy warming up, practising while we just sat and look
the others looked really pro!!
i actually got abit scared
but we got 4th!
abit disappointed that we didnt get to play against khairul ruzaini's team
they were really really good!
their matches were all so interesting!
it will be a real challenge to play against them
too bad they got out at the quarter-finals
alistair peacock played too!
but we didnt get to play against his team cos he got out at quarter-finals
funny but true:
we scored only one goals throught the tournament excl the penalties
anyway, i think aston vilau rawks!!
yes!! we rawks!!
yes...each and everyone of us!
gerald, leonard, ruiming, eugene, shannon, david, jinghao, shawn, jonathan and yokehwee(i think thats his name...the non-css goalie)...and even me
we made aston vilau rawks!
woohoo~
it's really fun going as a team with the css gang
i really hope my pjc friends could turn out the same
it may not be soccer
but going into a competition and making it quite far is really satisfying
especially when you have a team to celebrate with
ok ok...im so tired
i dont think i'll be watching the match later
i'll watch it in my dreams
with germany wining
c'mon germany!
go podolski!
go ballack!
go klose! (go closer)
with that i end my entry
