it's been more than 24hrs since SEZAIRI SEZALI was crowned the new Singapore Idol.
im happy that he won, though i thought having a female idol this time round would be kinda nice.
but seriously, if according to the performances during the grand finale, sezairi is more deserving to get the title.
as usual, the negative comments started pouring in. and i do feel for sezairi.
he has done nothing to deserve these negative comments.
he gave all out during the performances, put up a good show and in no way was he less deserving than sylvia.
i mean, they both were good enough to get the title.
well, for those who arent happy with the results, FACE IT. the winner still wont change.
you guys have only you and your fellow fans to blame.
here's some facts on how sezairi won:
he has MORE fans.
he has fans that are willing to support him by casting MORE votes.
if you're saying he has the votes of the malay community, then i think you deserve a tight slap.
please do not generalise. i have malay friends supporting sylvia.
I myself did not vote (as i didnt mind who wins).
and if you look at the proportion of the races in singapore, malay isnt the majority.
if ALL of the other races didnt want sezairi to win, im sure he wouldnt even get to top 4.
